Tour de France - Prologue

That was awesome!

So I didn't get to see all of the race, but the prologue was so much fun. I've put a bunch of the pictures up online here:

I think that my favorite photo is this one:

Also, I officially love this camera. I took 300 pictures before the race even started. And another 200 after that.

That is bloody awesome! Cool pictures! I'm rooting for George Hincapie. We taped today's race and will watch tonight - We'll look for you! How cool is that to be there!!

Ahhh! I'm so jealous! I was thinking about you when I was watching the prologue yesterday...wondering if I could see you sticking out in the crowd! Hehe.

I'll probably be lost in the crowd of 1 million (at least according to the estimates).

I was thinking about just setting up a spot close to the barricade and shooting from there about an hour and a half before the start, but I realized that all of my pictures would have the exact same background. So I started walking along the route from the start to about 4 kilometers in when the race began. I managed to squeeze into a space close to the barriers to get a few shots of the racers zipping by.
